SEA DUNES BEACHES
Sea Dunes' beach access is
directly across the beach road next to a life guard station.
Beach-goers will enjoy private beach access with Sea Dunes crossover
walkways. The beach is wide, soft and clean and the lifeguards are
on duty all summer long.
Lifeguards are on the
beach from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Hours of
operation vary, but generally the beach is guarded 10:00 - 6:00. Most
beach areas have roving lifeguards and supervisors.
The Outer Banks beaches
are clean and although they are popular vacation spots they are
generally not overcrowded. Keep in mind that these barrier islands
are made entirely out of sand which has a tendency to shift over
time especially during stormy weather. The Outer Banks are a series
of barrier islands which line a good portion of coastal North
Carolina.
